No Studio, no autotune and no mic, homegirl got skills. I don't know if that was a teaser to a cover (hope it is) of Mary J Blige - I can love you, it slaps.

You can't even tie Teyana Taylor down to "the girl in the Kanye West video", no more, that ol news! That outdated and she is more than that. A Mother&Wife, dancer, singer, actress and model, fashion icon of mine, A Lil Kim replica Harlem born diva. Straight diva I say that because her Petunia ego is raw and dominating (Teyana&Iman show if you know then you know).

I did not really hear Teyana Taylor's voice until Do Not Disturb (Ft Chris Brown). She then became a fave and I just wished I discovered her earlier. As a new fan, I patiently awaited her to return to music, I felt a connection she had with 90s R&B, a reminiscing voice and beats to go with it which I truly love and admire.

K.T.S.E - Keep That Same Energy

Firstly gold, from the interlude to WTP (Work This P*ssy). WTP a surprisingly creation fit for the vogue scene. Considering this modern, styled house dance evolved out of Harlem and too Teyana, the beat bumped, brought me out of my element, hands swanggggin, feet kicking. A bold, courageous, fitting creation that worked.

Gonna Love Me Remix

Now, The production of the subtle undertones and slow pick up of drums on Gonna Love me, a ballad from KTSE was angelically soulful. Showcasing her vocals on different ranges, that distances her from the SZA's and H.E.R's (not to downplay those ladies). It keeps it clean cut of lyrics of reflection from one who has been hurt, done the hurting, then seeks rest from it all.

Let me tell you, when I saw that Teyana dropped this with a remix with three hip-hop members from the legendary group WU-TANG CLAN!! I was indeed hysteric, how can you not be TEYANA X WU-TANG (Ghostface Killah, Method Man & Raekwon The Chef). This remix is defiantly 'this is it' moment in R&B of 2018, with the self-directed visuals from Teyana, the video sent the back audience to a early times in 2000s, a vibe. The members of Wu-Tang set their vibe, bars and of course chimes of ad-libs. Its a song that I believe will bounce back round in time to come in 2019, greater amount of love is surfacing and this will most likely fit the make or break bit of it.
